The gasketed plate heat exchangers are comprised of a package of individual, moulded heat exchange plates made of stainless steel or titanium, for which seals ensure the separation of the media.

In order to cover the large performance range, various installation sizes with different numbers of plates are available.

In the case of safety plate heat exchangers, 2 plates are brought together as a pair and welded to the connections. In the event of leakage at one of the two plates, the fluid runs into the intermediate space and emerges outside. This means that a mixing of the media can be prevented.
