Safety devices, so-called "equipment components with safety function", are used for gas-side securing of the hydro-accumulator against non-permitted excess pressures and/or pressure elevations resulting from non-permitted temperature increases.

In detail these are:

• Bursting disc,
• safety fuse and
• gas safety valve.

HYDAC safety devices have a CE label and are shipped with a declaration of conformity.

A gas safety block simplifies the operation of the hydraulic accumulator on the gas-side and also offers the possibility of attaching the above safety equipment using the various ports.
