Hydraulic dampers |

... from HYDAC include pulsation dampers, suction flow stabilizers, shock absorbers and silencers. However, standard bladder, piston and diaphragm accumulators are equally suitable as dampers. HYDAC dampers consist generally of bladder, piston or diaphragm accumulators, which may or may not be fitted with flow-dampening manifolds. Suction flow stabilizers and silencers are based on different design principles. Instead of a bladder/diaphragm, special types of construction, e.g. metal bellows accumulators, use a metal bellows to separate gas and oil side. Therefore they are available as virtually gas-tight dampers. HYDAC supplies hydraulic dampers in volumes from 0.075 up to 400 litres and above. |

Volume and pressure variations in hydraulic systems have a negative effect on the function and lifetime of the system components. After careful analysis of the system and subsequent size determination of the dampers, these pulsations can be damped by using HYDAC dampers.
The use of HYDAC hydraulic dampers brings economical advantages and safe production processes.
Some of these advantages are:
- reduction of pressure pulsations,
- improvement of the output characteristic of displacement pumps,
- prevention of line breaks and valve failures,
- protection of measurement instruments and their function in a hydraulic system,
- reduction of the noise in hydraulic systems,
- reduction of maintenance and repair costs and
- increased lifetime of the system.
