... are hydraulic accumulators with a metal bellows to separate the compressible gas from the operating fluid. The separating element is designed either with convolutions or as a welded diaphragm. HYDAC metal bellow accumulators have a wide range of applications. For example, they are used for pulsation damping on heavy diesel engines or in the chemical industry. In the aircraft industry, this type of accumulator design mainly provides energy storage or volume compensation.

Basic characteristics:

  • Permitted operating pressure: up to 210 bar.
