HYDAC hydraulic accumulators

HYDAC hydraulic accumulators enable energy storage and pressure compensation. This is also especially the case in seawater regions and deep-sea mining. In addition, our hydraulic accumulators cover high-pressure ranges up to 1000 bar.
Depending on the desired application, we offer a large selection of corrosion protection coatings (e.g. NORSOK coatings) and materials (e.g. Super Duplex). Deep-sea approval and multi-approval are possible for all accumulator types.

Explosion protection

Explosion protection in mining: our product solutions

HYDAC air coolers AC-LN ATEX / AC-LNH ATEX for cooling lubrication oil or hydraulic oil

With its antistatic fan, earthed components and ATEX-certified fan drive, our solution is particularly suitable for areas at risk of gas and dust explosions. Our air cooler is available with an AC motor (AC-LN) or a hydraulic fan drive (AC-LNH) with 50 Hz and 60 Hz.

HYDAC's valve range with explosion protection for maximum safety in mining

For use in potentially explosive atmospheres in surface and underground mining, our valves are also available with ATEX certification on request, e.g. HYDAC industrial solenoid valves in a spool design, HYDAC industrial solenoid valves in a poppet design, HYDAC industrial proportional valves 3-way pressure control valve, HYDAC hydraulic valves or HYDAC cartridge solenoid valves in a poppet design.

System engineering in mining: our product solutions

HYDAC power units for slat conveyors

We offer our customers a wide range of power units for slat conveyors that are used in the mining industry to transport hot or abrasive materials.

Our power units have an operating pump and a reserve pump as well as double filters that can be removed upwards to simplify maintenance. Efficient heat management ensures optimum system cooling. The pump systems used in the power units can be tested remotely.

Automated HYDAC pump testing systems

HYDAC pump testing systems enable comprehensive remote testing of pump efficiency. They measure the ratio of pressure and flow in critical systems, significantly reducing the time and effort required for maintenance and monitoring tasks.

Our solutions can be retrofitted into existing systems or integrated into new systems. Condition monitoring sensors, such as particle sensors or aqua sensors, can also be integrated on request.

Thickeners - HYDAC hydraulic drive unit

Efficient drives for thickeners help to reduce the volume of sludge in wastewater treatment plants, ensuring an energy-saving and cost-saving treatment process in the mining sector.

For this purpose, we offer hydraulic lifting units and lifting cylinders that are also suitable for the special requirements of surface and underground mining.

Wagon tippers - HYDAC hydraulic power unit for wagon clamping mechanisms

For mining applications, HYDAC offers reliable hydraulic power units for clamping in wagon tippers which are used for fast and efficient unloading of wagons or mine cars.

Our power units ensure that the wagons are held securely during the emptying process, even in challenging operating conditions.

HYDAC hydraulic power units and stand-alone actuators

The stand-alone actuator from HYDAC combines a cylinder, drive and control in a compact design. Its special modular system enables numerous versions in any installation position.

With the integrated hydraulic accumulator, emergency functions can be performed even in the event of a power failure.

We offer accumulators with a capacity of up to 8x200 litres for use in the mining sector. HYDAC accumulators are also available with a custom paint finish on request.

HYDAC fluid cooling systems for inverter cooling in electrified drill rigs

We offer you efficient and compact fluid cooling systems that can be integrated into a modular cabinet.

Our semi-closed systems are low-maintenance as they are resistant to the ingress of moisture and contamination. This also makes them suitable for outdoor installation. Recooling takes place via an external air cooler or plate heat exchanger (PHE).

HYDAC fluid cooling systems for drive cooling in electrified drill rigs

Our systems enable efficient, compact fluid cooling and are particularly low-maintenance.

The semi-closed systems are resistant to contamination and are therefore suitable for outdoor installation in mobile systems. Recooling takes place via the ambient air.

Electrified loaders enable quiet and ergonomic working even in difficult ambient conditions as they emit no exhaust fumes and reduce noise emissions at the same time.
