HYDAC was founded in 1963 in Saarland as 'Gesellschaft für Hydraulikzubehör' (Hydraulic Accessories Company). The family business has never stopped improving since it was founded. HYDAC now has 52 international subsidiaries, approximately 500 sales and service partners, 20 product lines, and more than 11,000 employees worldwide.

HYDAC B.V – partner in the field of hydraulics, from component to system
Since 1993, HYDAC International GmbH has also had a subsidiary in the Netherlands, HYDAC BV, with more than 300 employees. HYDAC BV has its head office in Beek en Donk, as well as branches in Drachten, Dordrecht, Beverwijk, Apeldoorn, Enschede, and Soesterberg. Through the acquisition of ELMA in 2019, we can now also supply electric drive and control technology. In 2025, we acquired ROBOX Heat Management, which means we can now manufacture heat exchangers in-house.
HYDAC – represented in all industries
HYDAC components, subsystems, and systems can be found in all industries, in offshore and maritime applications, and in mobile hydraulics. HYDAC solutions provide heave compensation, cooling, and lubrication on offshore vessels and cranes. They can be found in modern machining equipment, providing cabin suspension for agricultural vehicles and boom damping for construction machinery, maintaining the operation of hydraulics on excavators, and inspecting and testing the load capacity of the wings of an Airbus A-380.

The broad product range includes filters, filter systems, process filters, condition monitoring systems, manifolds, valves, electronics, pumps, cylinders, coolers, cooling systems, pipe clamps, ball valves, and all types of accumulators.
HYDAC employees will always think with you to find the right innovative and flexible solution for your hydraulic problem, whether it concerns the right components or a complete system.
All of this with the ultimate goal of increasing the availability and reliability of machines and systems and reducing costs for you as our customer. To guarantee this, HYDAC invests 5% of its annual turnover in R&D, cooperating closely with institutes and universities.
In addition, HYDAC offers its customers a comprehensive package of technical services such as fluid engineering, training, and service. HYDAC also has a complete research laboratory, namely the HYDAC Fluid Care Centre.
