Sustainability – HYDAC CO2 policy
Sustainability is an important aspect of HYDAC's business operations. In a market where sustainability is a challenge, HYDAC aims to make a significant contribution to a healthy living environment.
Our ambition is to reduce our footprint for the HYDAC Group in the Netherlands by nearly 50% in 2028. To achieve and reinforce this aim, we have chosen to obtain the CO2 Performance Ladder certificate as a group. The CO2 Performance Ladder certificate helps us to visualize our CO2 emissions and achieve our environmental goals. It also helps us to make more sustainable choices and regularly devise new environmental measures.

Insight
Twice a year, we inventory and analyse emissions. This analysis provides us with insight into emissions that we can use to determine our targets.
We can then implement the appropriate measures depending on our goals. By continuously repeating the inventory, the results of the measures we have put in place become clear.
Reduction
After gaining insight into the emissions, measures and objectives are determined.
The measures are then implemented to achieve the objectives. This insight also enables us to evaluate the efficiency of the measures put in place.
Transparency
By sharing Insight, Objectives, and Progress on both our website and via internal communication channels, we focus on engaging employees and partners in the market.
Participation
HYDAC is affiliated with the Positive Impact Foundation, through which we participate in workshops and events.
We also actively respond to initiatives within our supply chain. For example, we participate in client events related to sustainability and actively contribute ideas regarding the CO2 footprint and reduction opportunities.
