Sustainable Cartridge Element Kit (SCEK) Series: The Next Evolution of Spin-On Filtration

A cartridge-based solution that reduces waste and simplifies maintenance with spin-on compatibility.

The SCEK Series introduces a new approach to spin-on filtration by separating what lasts from what gets replaced. A reusable bowl paired with a high-performance cartridge element reduces material waste, lowers long-term cost, and supports modern fluid system design.

Why SCEK Series?Rethinking the Disposable Spin-On

Traditional spin‑on filters combine housing and element into a single disposable unit. While convenient, this design sends oil‑filled metal canisters to landfills and drives recurring replacement costs.

The SCEK Series changes that architecture.

By introducing a reusable plastic bowl and a disposable cartridge element, the SCEK Series preserves the simplicity of spin‑on filters while eliminating unnecessary waste and material loss.

What Makes the SCEK Series Different?

Conservation of resources

Reusable by Design

The SCEK Series separates the long-life filter bowl from the replaceable element. The reusable bowl remains in service while only the cartridge element is changed, reducing material use and supporting a more sustainable filtration architecture.

Drop-In Compatibility

Drop-In Compatibility

Designed to fit existing spin-on heads wherever 0160 and 0180 MA elements or equivalent interchanges are used. The SCEK Series integrates easily into current systems without requiring design changes or new connections.

Safety

Quality Protected

Built-in missing element protection ensures the filter cannot operate without an installed cartridge. This safeguard helps maintain system integrity and protects equipment during service and operation.

A smarter approach to spin-on filtration that balances sustainability, reliability, and familiar installation.

The Sustainability StoryDesigned to Reduce Waste Without Compromise

The SCEK Series addresses two major sources of filtration waste: disposable metal housings and trapped hydraulic oil during change out.

The SCEK cartridge element is incinerable, and the reusable bowl eliminates disposal of oil filled metal spin-on cans. The result is reduced landfill impact while maintaining reliable filtration performance.

Performance You Expect From HYDAC Engineered Filtration Performance
