GasFilter Select Find the right gas filter for your application!
Whether it's applications in hydrogen filtration, the petrochemical industry, industrial pumps or booster stations: use our online tool to find the right gas filter for you from our extensive range of particle filters and coalescing separators.
Gas filters – Service life insurance for your system
They protect injection nozzles, turbine blades, pistons and valves: gas filters protect machines and systems from premature wear in almost all technical sectors. HYDAC offers you more than just standard filters: you benefit from our optimised filter design based on real gas behaviour. Combined with our high-quality element technology, our particle filters and coalescing separators can withstand even aggressive media and high temperatures. Reliable, robust and durable – trust in our first-class filter quality.
Why do gases need to be filtered?
Liquid or particulate contaminants in gases can significantly impair the service life of important system and machine components. This results in costly maintenance and cleaning work and even complete downtimes. Typical problems with components caused by liquid or particulate contaminants in gases include erosion, deposits, fouling and corrosion. To prevent this, the right filtration is essential – with GasFilter Select, you'll find the perfect filter for your application.
Our gas filter product range
GFLP & GFLC series
Gas filters in the GFLP and GFLC series are suitable for low pressure ranges up to 16 bar. With a wide range of connection sizes and filter elements for particle filtration and coalescence separation, they're the all-rounder for numerous applications in which technical gases have to be filtered. These filters can also be used in innovative applications, such as the production of green hydrogen using electrolysis, however. For uninterrupted operation, they are also available as double filters with a changeover fitting.
GF series
GF series filters have been specially developed for challenging applications such as hydrogen filtration and are particularly suitable for high pressure levels up to 1050 bar.
GCF & GPF
GCF and GPF gas filters for the protection of compressors and turbines. They are typically used as seal gas filters – with an integrated cyclone separator for humid gases – as particle filters or coalescing separators for seal gases. They are available as single filters (single block), double filters (double block) and double filters in a double block and bleed design.
GCS & GDS
For applications with gushing liquids or aerosol droplets (> 5 µm), we recommend our Gas Cyclone Separator GCS or our Gas Demister Separator GDS for pre-separation.

What makes our gas filters special
The very best in filter element technology
Filter elements are the decisive factor for filter performance and this is precisely where we focus our attention. Supported by the HYDAC FluidCareCenter, our filter elements are put through their paces on state-of-the-art test benches, enabling them to meet the highest requirements for challenging applications, such as hydrogen filtration. Tailor-made filter elements have been our key area of expertise for more than 30 years.
Excellent stability and long service lives
Particle filter elements and coalescing filter elements can be used in almost all our gas filters as required. Whether it's nominal or absolute filtration, you're on the safe side with our filter materials made of HYDAC Chemicron® metal fibre fleece, wire mesh and our Processmicron® glass fibre fleece. Our filter materials are characterised by excellent chemical, mechanical and thermal stability. You benefit from low pressure losses and long service lives.
Do you already have a gas filter in use and want to increase its efficiency? We offer solutions for this too. With our high-quality Betterfit and replacement elements for standard market designs, you can optimise your application sustainably and benefit from a quick return on investment. Thanks to longer service lives, you need fewer filter elements and save costs for repairs and downtimes at the same time.
