High-performance filters for polymer melt and solvent filtration for critical processesDesign & production in Germany

In plastics processing plants, for example in granule, fibre, cable or film production, small particles and gels can lead to major problems. Thanks to our decades of experience in the fields of stainless steel element technology and polymer filtration, we have extensive expertise ranging from design (material selection, layer structure, computational fluid dynamics) and production (pleating technology, cleaning processes, welding technology, quality assurance) to filter analysis and in-house testing.

Optimise your polymer melt filtration

Experts since 1992 – at our production facility in Germany, we develop and produce highly efficient filter elements that are tailored to your needs. In doing so, we rely on resistant mechanical connections (crimping) and sustainable materials (cleanable filter materials). Thanks to our decades of experience in the field of polymer element technology, we have extensive expertise, especially in the welding technology sector, which opens up possibilities for function integration (e.g. seal-less designs). This enables us to provide you with a broad product range – whether it's candle filters, filter discs (screen discs) or spin pack filters.

The secret to success: Chemicron®High contamination retention capacity and porosity up to 90 %

Chemicron®metal fibre fleece consists of a large number of very thin and homogeneously distributed stainless steel fibres (316L, special materials on request), which are firmly bonded together via a sintering process.
The main advantages of the highly porous filter material over other materials, such as wire mesh and sintered metals, are its high contamination retention capacity and porosity of up to 90 %.

Obtained from rivers, lakes, wells, seas and the ground – water is used in industry as intake water in a vast range of processes. Careful treatment of the raw water via filtration is the key to efficient system operation. The treated water can be used as cooling water, membrane feed water, spray water or process water, for example. If the raw water is able to enter the system without being filtered, there are severe consequences. Avoidable consequences. Because automatic back-flushing filters, inline filters and screen basket filters can provide reliable assistance. How they should be used, and where, and what role mussels have to play in the whole scenario is all explained here!
