Technical superiority in application
A key advantage of HYDAC bladder accumulators is their structural safety: the fluid-side valve is designed to mechanically prevent the bladder from leaking into the hydraulic line in the event of a sudden drop in pressure. By selecting specific elastomer mixtures for the bladder, e.g. NBR, ECO, IIR (butyl) or FKM, the storage units can be optimally adapted to the medium used (e.g. chemically aggressive liquids) and the temperature range (low temperatures, sometimes even below -50°C). This not only ensures functionality but also minimises the risk of unplanned downtime caused by maintenance work on the bladder accumulator.
Engineering support and durability
The service life of a bladder accumulator depends largely on the correct pre-charge pressure (P0). To avoid duplicating content, we will link specifically to our maintenance tools here, such as the charging and testing unit FPU-1. Engineers benefit from our global certification matrix, which ensures that the selected bladder accumulators meet international approvals such as RL2014/68/EU, ASME or SELO, as pressure equipment such as hydraulic accumulators can only be exported with worldwide certification: this simplifies the international trading of your machines and plants.
