
Axial piston pumps
At a time when energy costs are rising, hydraulic drive efficiency is the decisive competitive advantage. HYDAC axial piston pumps of the PPV series convert mechanical energy into hydraulic power with minimal losses. What makes them special is the fact that, as variable displacement pumps, they adjust their swivel angle – and thus the flow rate – precisely to match the actuators’ actual demand. When no movement is required, the pump returns to ‘zero displacement’. This saves significant amounts of energy, reduces heat build-up in the system and extends the service life of all components.

Our pumps are based on the proven swash plate principle, which enables continuously adjustable control of the delivery volume:
- High pressure resistance: designed to handle standard nominal pressures up to 350 bar and peak loads up to 400 bar.
- Wide range of controller types: whether you need a pressure controller (01/P), a remotely adjustable pressure controller (07/PR), a load-sensing controller (14/LS), an electrically remotely adjustable pressure controller (E07), an electro-proportional flow volume controller (ED) or a power controller (09/TC), we have the right technology to meet your control needs.
- Low noise emission: thanks to optimised control panels and a vibration-damping housing design, our pumps remain surprisingly quiet even at high pressure.
