The integration of a HYDAC hydraulic accumulator enables significant efficiency gains in industrial processes. In addition to the classic emergency function in the event of power failure, they are primarily used for leakage compensation and thermal volume expansion. For engineers, the reduction of vibrations and noise emissions through effective pulse damping is particularly relevant. Our accumulators comply with international pressure vessel guidelines (such as PED, ASME, CRN) and can also be integrated modularly into existing systems thanks to an extensive range of accessories, such as safety and shut-off blocks and fastening elements. 

Selection criteria & tool support (online tools)

The correct configuration is crucial for the operational safety. Factors such as the maximum operating pressure, the required draw-off volume and the gas pre-tension (p0) define the accumulator type and also the accumulator model. Use our digital engineering tools such as ASP light or the p0 calculatorto accurately simulate the thermodynamic state changes. This ensures that the accumulator is neither over-sized nor at the performance limit, which sustainably optimises the total cost of ownership (TCO).
