Compact quick change function through combination of three valve functions

Combination valve: WKDRM08140Y

Integrates the following valve functions:

  • Separate 4/2-directional valve to initiate cylinder movement
  • Pressure reducing valve to prevent damage to the mechanical system when the locking bolt engages
  • Bypass check valve for secure release of the locking bolt

Special features:

  • When de-energised, the valve produces pressure that is regulated to extend or halt the locking bolt. The pressure level can be set mechanically on the valve.
  • If the valve is energised, the entire system pressure is routed to the cylinder port on the opposite side and the locking bolt can be retracted with great force. 
  • Oil flowing back out of the cylinder is freely routed to the tank. The combining of the functions in a single valve provides a securely locked bolt position when the valve is de-energised and it also provides for a mechanically adjustable locking pressure.
  • The combination valve provides optimum pressure conditions for tool change, e.g. in telescopic handlers.

Integrates the following valve functions:

  • Adjustable pressure relief valve
  • Normally open (fail safe) 2/2 directional switch valve as bypass

Special features:

  • The simple application of a supply voltage is sufficient for controlling this valve.
  • Modular system for:
    • Nominal sizes from 8 to 16
    • Flow ranges from 60 to 300 l/min

Design options:

  • With proportional control and independently adjustable maximum and minimum pressures – PDB…PY
  • With inverse characteristics and adjustable maximum pressure – PDB...PZ-31

Combination valve: PWK10121WS

Integrates the following valve functions:

  • Direct acting, proportional 2/2 directional spool valve
  • Fixed-setting maximum flow valve (with individually adjustable maximum value)

Special features:

  • Integration of a constant flow valve to monitor the flow rate and limitation performed by the valve automatically when maximum value reached
  • Since the volume flows through only one valve, Δp for lowering is reduced in comparison with conventional solutions with multiple valves, thus enabling plunger cylinders to also be lowered without a load at the desired speed. 
  • Continuous Q-I curve since there is no change in the flow force between the flow valve and the proportional valve

Integrates the following valve functions:

  • Direct acting bypass pressure compensator in spool design
  • Pressure limiting function for precise flow control

Special features:

  • Direct acting bypass pressure compensator in spool design with integrated load-sensing pressure limiting function
  • Available for different control pressure differences and with diverse options, e.g.:
    • with hydrodynamic damping or
    • internal constant draining of the load-sensing line

Design options:

  • With magnetically switchable pressure limiting – DWM12121ZMD
  • De-energised with high pressure and energised with low pressure – DWM12121ZMD(Z)
  • All designs are also available with proportional remote control
