The HYDAC Universal Charging and Testing Unit FPU-1, is used to charge bladder, piston and diaphragm accumulators with nitrogen, or to test and alter the pre-charge pressure. Nearly all hydraulic accumulators can be charged using the wide range of gas side adaptors for the accumulator and the nitrogen bottle from HYDAC. A comprehensive range of accessories such as, for example, hoses, the pressure reducer valve and also the case, can be put together as required by the customer to complete the package. |

In the standard model, the FPU-1 consists of:
- valve body,
- spindle with seal,
- check valve and release valve,
- pressure gauge with display ranges of up to 400 bar,
- charging hose (complies with EC Machine Direktive, DIN EN 982, DIN EN 853 - 857)
and
- adapter A3 for bladder accumulators.
