HVT 1100 – digital Ethernet camera for mobile applications
The HVT 1000 is a digital camera that was specially developed for field-of-view enhancement under difficult environmental conditions.
It provides a 1/4-inch CMOS digital image sensor of the latest generation with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels at up to 60 images per second. The image sensor is optimised for demanding light conditions such as dawn or darkness or scenery with a high dynamic range such as backlight.
The camera is available with fields of view ranging between 30° and 180° – smaller field-of-view adaptations can be performed digitally in the image processor.
The installed image processor handles the correction of optical distortions, automatic white balance, exposure control, noise cancelling and the compression of the dynamic range of high-contrast images. The camera picture can be enhanced by configurable graphical overlays such as lines, curves, logos and texts.
The Fast Ethernet or BroadR-Reach interface outputs a compressed video stream. For the configuration of the camera, the requirements of ISO 17215 (road vehicles – video communication interface for cameras) are implemented.
A software library is available for configuration of the HVT 1000
The camera has a compact, robust design and is suitable for use in a broad range of temperatures.
The HVT 1000 can be used as a rear-view camera, as an all-round vision camera and for process monitoring in mobile machines.
