VEU – VarnishElimination Unit
The service-friendly VarnishElimination Units VEU are used to condition mineral oils. They are particularly effective at removing oil degradation products (varnish) from mineral oils. Varnish takes the form of oil-insoluble oil degradation products which settle in the tank, the valves or the bearings. These can be filterable gels or solid varnish-type deposits.
The VEU-F series of units is used in the bypass flow. The varnish is removed by reducing the oil solubility of varnish and then filtering it out.
